1 DAY GORILLA TREKKING RWANDA ITINERARY
This is one of the shortest trips in Rwanda. It has been prepared to cater for our clients wishing to meet Gorillas in their natural habitat but on tight schedule and low budget. From Kigali, the journey will take us through the rolling hills of Rwanda with a clear view of the mighty Virunga ranges suitable for memorable photography. Nothing is compared to one hour spent with mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat!
Itinerary for One Day Tour
Have early morning break fast, be picked from your Hotel in Kigali by 4:30am and transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Report at Kinigi briefing point by 7:00am for the tips concerning gorilla trekking. In a company of senior ranger guides, move into the bamboo forests of the park to search for the intelligent, & humble giants (Gorillas). One hour is always given to visitors Stay and chat with gorillas before transferring to Luxury, Deluxe or Budget Lodge for Lunch and thereafter, return to Kigali airport for your flight back home or You can decide to stay in Kigali and Fly the next day.

2 DAY / 1 NIGHT GORILLA TREK RWANDA ITINERARY
Day 1: Genocide memorial Tour -Transfer to Volcanoes National park
Pick up from Kigali International Airport, Visit Gisozi Genocide memorial site and then transfer to the home of mountain Gorillas in Rwanda. The journey rewards a clear view of the rolling hills of Rwanda and the mighty Virunga ranges. Dinner and overnight at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge, Virunga Lodge, Mountain Gorilla View Lodge, Sabinyo Silverback Lodge, Kinigi Guest House or Muhabura hotel.
Day 2: Memorable Gorilla trekking and Departure
Early in the morning, together with the necessary tracking gear and packed lunch, you will move to the park headquarters for briefing, before proceeding with the ranger guides for the memorable adventure. Tracking will take you through steed slopes and thick forest trails, and may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the giants in their natural environment. The activity is quite strenuous, but worth undertaking. A maximum of one hour will be allowed with the Gorillas and for photography. After tracking, you will descend to the park headquarters / lodge and then embark on the journey back to Kigali where the tour ends.

3 DAY GORILLA TREKKING RWANDA ITINERARY
Day 1: Kigali City Tour, Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Pick up from Kigali Airport on Arrival, or from the hotel after breakfast and start with a city tour to Gisozi genocide memorial museum, local art and craft market, lunch and transfer to the home of mountain gorillas, dinner and overnight stay at Kinigi Guest House, Le Bambou Lodge or Mountain Gorilla View Lodge.
Day 2: First Gorilla trek, afternoon community walk
Breakfast, followed by briefing at the park headquarters about gorilla trekking activity. Do not forget to carry enough drinking water and snacks. Porters are available for hire from US$10. The trek in search for mountain gorillas is quiet strenuous and a certain level of fitness is required. In case you have a problem with hiking, or not fit physically for strenuous hike, you can ask park officials to assign you to a nearby gorilla family where you may not hike for so long. However, this is not a guarantee because gorillas freely move in their natural habitat and their movement is unpredictable. Return to your lodge to lunch, relax and get ready for afternoon community walk in Ruhengeri and musanze local market, or visit the beautiful Twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo.
Day 3: Second Gorilla Trek or Mt. Bishoke hike, Departure
Breakfast at your lodge followed by another gorilla trek (You must posses a second gorilla permit in advance). Alternatively, we can go for golden monkey tracking, or hike to the tombs of the Late Dian Fossey or mount Bisoke. Retire early and hit the road back to Kigali where the tour ends.
