3 Day Memorable Rwanda Gorilla trekking & Twin Lakes safari
The 3 days safari was prepared to enable our clients enjoy a life time event of meeting Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat. “Nothing is compared to Gorilla trekking” and enjoy the scenic view on twin Lake.
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali & Transfer to the Volcanoes National Park (home of gorillas).
You will be welcomed by our professional English speaking safari guide who will drive you north of Rwanda to Volcanoes National Park. While enjoying the drive to the home of mountain Gorillas, you will also be rewarded with the view of the rolling Virunga mountains so, photographing is inevitable!! Arrival for relaxation as we wait for dinner and overnight stay at Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge, Virunga Lodge Mountain Gorilla View Lodge, Muhabura Hotel or Kinigi Guest House.
Day 2: Memorable Gorilla tracking – Visit the beautiful twin Lake: Burera & Buhondo
Breakfast and head to the park headquarters with packed lunch & water for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the Gorillas then proceed to track them in their natural environment. Time taken searching for these Gentle giants ranges between 2-6 hours depending on the movement of gorilla families or groups. Return to your lodge for lunch and then visit the twin Lakes; Burera and Buhondo. Dinner and overnight at your previous Lodge
DAY 3: Golden monkey trekking/ Musanze cave exploration/Dian Fossey tomb safari or Hike Mt Bishoke - Departure
After breakfast, you will visit one of the above optioned activities before transferring to Kigali where the safari ends.
End of the trip.
