About Kigali:
Kigali city is the capital city of Rwanda- Rwanda is situated in central Africa, boarded by Uganda in the north, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in the west, Tanzania in the east and Burundi in the south. Kigali city is located in the heart position of Rwanda and is the gate way to Rwanda for International Visitors due to the fact that, Kigali International Airport is found in Kigali city. Kigali is one of the organized and cleanest cities in Africa and not only the national capital, but also the country’s main important business centre.

The city started in 1907 as a small colonial and blessed with a moderate high altitude climate that belies its tropical location, and is conveniently located within three hours’ drive of the main tourist sites. The Rwandan capital provides both a comfortable and welcoming introduction to this land of a thousand hills. Unlike Kampala, Kigali city is made up of three districts namely Gasabo, Kicukiro and Nyarugenge. The city accommodates approximately one million people, 70% is makes up the young: 60% male and 50 female.

Kigali city is an administration centre with the National parliament and state house among others. It is a cultural centre due to presence of cultural museums, historical centre due to presence of Genocide memorial museum like Gisozi, Educational centre due to presence of schools and Universities.
