Sipi Falls
Sipi falls is one of the famous water falls in Uganda. Its found in Kapchorwa district situated near Uganda - kenya Boarder. Sipi falls at the edge of Mountain Elgon National Park. A series of three of these waterfalls make up the Sipi falls. While at the Sipi falls, you are able to view gorgeous sites of the slopes of Mount Elgon, Lake Kyoga and the Plains of Karamoja.
The journey to the falls involve moving to the starting point and the hike will involve up and down movements on the slopes to reach from one water fall to the other. The roads and paths will be muddy especially if your hike is on a rainy day.
To complete the circuit of the three waterfalls of Sipi, you need some level of fitness because of climbing uphills, slope down the slipper paths. While at the Sipi falls, you are able to view gorgeous sites of the slopes of Mount Elgon, Lake Kyoga and the Plains of Karamoja.

Hike Mountain Elgon- Mountain Elgon today is the fourth tallest mountain in East Africa and the best time of the year to climb it is during the dry seasons. The hikers are given guide, walking stick and porters to help them carry luggage. Its should be noted that some level of fitness is needed.
Mountain Biking is another famous tourist activity in Mountain Elgon region. The bikers ride around the nearby areas while viewing different attractions like the falls, mountain peaks and forests among others.
Birding -a variety of bird species can be spotted here include Hartlaub’s Turaco, Eastern Bronze-napped Pigeon, Lemon Dove, Dusky-Turtle Dove, African Hill Babbler, Alpine Chat, Black-throated Wattle-eye, Mountain Yellow Warbler, Thick-billed Honey guide, Grey Cuckoo-Shrike.
