East African community comprise of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi.  The community joined hand to introduce one East African tourist visa each at US$ 100. Single East African entry visa currently serve tourists going to Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda – this was done to boost tourism activities in East Africa.

Gorilla trekking safari – Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable forest, Mgahinga National park and Volcanoes National park in Rwanda are home for Mountain Gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park hosts fourteen habituated mountain Gorilla groups, Mgahinga National park with one habituated Mountain Gorilla family and Volcanoes National Park protects ten habituated Mountain Gorilla groups. Mountain Gorilla trekking is the top East African safari in East Africa and first sought for activity.

Wildebeests migration – the second sought for activity in East Africa. The wildebeest migration takes place in Kenya and Tanzania well known in Masai Mara and Serengeti National parks respectively.  This is a memorable experience seeing a hundreds and thousands of wild animals shifting from places of low pasture and water to the places with plenty of pasture and water.  In dry season, when pastures become scarce in the southern sector, they migrate to the northern sector and the same process continues with the variation in seasons.

Chimpanzee trekking safaris – Chimpanzees are found in Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda.  Chimpanzee safaris involve encountering them in their natural habitats. The treks starts with briefing and then visitors are headed by the ranger guides to meet chimpanzees. It is believed that Uganda’s Kibale Forest National park offers the best and memorable Chimp trekking. Other Parks where chimpanzee trekking is conducted include Nyungwe forest National Park in Rwanda and so on.

Wildlife safaris – they involves day and night game drives through the parks. It is believed that Kenya and Tanzania offers the best Game drives in East Africa!!  Masai mara in Kenya and Serengeti National parks are the first sought for memorable Game viewing in East Africa.
